Benjamin Baker: At The World’s Edge festival

An intimate evening of works by Brahms, Clara Schumann and the UK Premiere of the AWE Festival 2022 commission ‘Mata-Au’ by New Zealand composer Salina Fisher. This programme charts a course through works celebrating new beginnings, the heartbreak of impending loss, and the eventual recovery and acceptance of what life throws at us.

A New Zealand inspired three course meal accompanied by Elephant Hill Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
Mussels with samphire, sorrel and chilli OR Berkswell cheese roll with herb and lemon salad
Roast lamb loin with smoked sweet potato and spinach, garlic and watercress OR Sweet potato stuffed with puffed wild rice, sour cream, smoked paprika and corn
Lamington with coffee Chantilly cream
Format
Doors open at 6:30 for drinks and nibbles ahead of a one-hour performance (starting at 7pm, without interval) followed by a three-course meal.
The Standard ticket price includes the concert and the meal. Choose Table for 2 if you are two people and want the guarantee of a stand-alone table. We don’t sell concert-only tickets any longer. Drinks can be ordered on the night.
