Bloomsbury Festival: Kate Noakes and Cath Drake – Nurturing the Planet

Australian poet Cath Drake joins fellow writer Kate Noakes on stage at Bloomsbury Festival in London this autumn. Together, they will explore through poetry the ways in which we might grow our consciousness to a more sustainable future, nurturing local species, growing food and urgently re-evaluating all aspects of our lifestyle choices in the face of the current environmental crisis.
The poems in this exciting reading are drawn from their various collections, as well as new work written especially for the festival.
Cath is an Australian who lives in London. She curates inspiring online poetry and creative writing workshops and events from The Verandah, for Australian and UK audiences and beyond. She is also a mindfulness teacher, believing that mindfulness, writing, poetry, and her passion and expertise in environmental issues are highly complementary.
