Eleanor Catton: Birnam Wood – UK tour including Cambridge, London, Manchester and Oxford
February 28 @ 7:30 pm - April 5 @ 9:00 pm

Booker Prize-winning author Eleanor Catton is touring the UK to talk about her latest novel, Birnam Wood, which will be published on 2 March. This includes taking to the Queen Elizabeth Hall stage at the Southbank Centre on 16 March for a London exclusive event to discuss the highly anticipated psychological thriller.
Catton, whose second novel The Luminaries won the 2013 Booker Prize – making her the youngest author ever to win the prize (at age 28) and only the second New Zealander – will also be joined by fellow writer Val McDermid in London.
A compulsive literary thriller, Birnam Wood is Shakespearean in its wit, drama and immersion in character. A satirical examination of our contemporary political moment, the novel lays bare the human impulse to ensure our own survival.
