‘Sam Harrison is outstanding’ – The Guardian
The Magician’s Elephant, a new musical based on the 2009 children’s novel of the same name by Kate DiCamillo, is an epic tale about a magician who conjures an elephant from the sky, setting off a chain of events so remarkable that it changes life in a quiet and lonely town forever.
And starring in this Royal Shakespeare Company production, staged at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, is Australian-born actor Sam Harrison.
Sam, whose theatre credits include Les Misérables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Phantom of the Opera and Avenue Q, plays the role of Count Quintet.
The Magician’s Elephant is part of the RSC’s Winter 2021 Season, which runs until the New Year.
