House of Oz returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August with an eight-show programme celebrating the breadth of contemporary Australian performance.
The 2026 season brings together circus, dance, theatre, comedy, family work, music and immersive experience, with productions appearing across Assembly and Summerhall venues throughout the festival.
This year’s programme includesTen Thousand Hoursfrom Gravity & Other Myths, an acclaimed contemporary circus work celebrating the dedication, sweat and joy behind extraordinary physical performance.
Dance and physical theatre are strongly represented by Daddy from Joel Bray Dance, a participatory work from acclaimed Aboriginal choreographer Joel Bray, and Glass Child from The Farm, which blends dance, theatre and storytelling to explore the real-life bond between siblings Kayah and Maitreyah.
Theatre highlights include How Not To Make It In America by Emily Steel, a solo work set in 2001 about a young Australian actor in New York whose dreams unravel after 9/11. The show is one of the joint recipients of the 2026 House of Oz Purse Prize, alongside Fuccbois: Live in Concert by Bridie Connell.
Comedy and music feature in Fuccbois: Live in Concert, an irreverent pop-comedy satire of boyband culture and toxic dating, while family audiences can catch The Listies: 110% Ready, a new comedy disaster movie about the chaos of the morning routine from Fringe favourites The Listies.
The programme also includes Concerts of the Future from The Sonicrats and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, a cutting-edge VR experience that invites audiences to step onto the stage and perform alongside a world-class orchestra, and BIRDS: Alex Hines and Sarah Stafford from Sons of Susan, a darkly comic end-of-days beach story.
House of Oz continues to provide a major platform for Australian artists at Edinburgh, supporting bold and distinctive work to reach international audiences and industry.
