Pasifika Fest UK 2026 brings Pacific culture, performance and storytelling to London

  • Goodenough College Mecklenburgh Square London, England, WC1N 2AB United Kingdom (map)

London will host a major new celebration of Pacific arts and culture this summer with the launch of Pasifika Fest UK 2026 — a two-day festival dedicated to Pacific creativity, identity and community.

Bringing together artists, performers, academics, entrepreneurs and cultural leaders connected to the Pacific Ocean, the inaugural festival aims to create a new long-term platform for Pacific representation and cultural exchange in the UK.

Across the weekend, audiences can experience live performances, fiafia nights, film screenings, workshops, music, food, fashion and community conversations celebrating Tagata Moana — the peoples of the Pacific.

The programme will feature internationally recognised and UK-based Pacific artists and cultural practitioners, alongside workshops exploring haka, siva and Pacific languages, as well as classical music interpreted through a Pacific lens.

Festival highlights include:

  • Live music and cultural performances

  • Talanoa conversations and storytelling events

  • Pacific food, fashion, art and marketplace vendors

  • Workshops in dance, language and cultural practice

  • Film screenings and community events

With additional guest announcements still to come, organisers describe the event as “the beginning of a long-term vision for Pacific arts and cultural representation in the UK”.
