House of Oz Returns to Edinburgh Fringe 2026

FANZA is delighted to once again support House of Oz as it returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer with a vibrant showcase of Australian creativity across theatre, comedy, circus, dance and family entertainment.

Since launching in 2022, House of Oz has become one of the most exciting platforms for Australian artists at Edinburgh, championing acclaimed performers alongside bold emerging talent and helping bring distinctive Australian voices to international audiences.

This year’s programme features award-winning comedy, visually spectacular circus, immersive experiences and powerful new theatre works.

Among the highlights are family comedy favourites The Listies with 110% Ready; internationally celebrated acrobatic company Gravity & Other Myths returning with their smash-hit Ten Thousand Hours; and Emily Steel’s award-winning How Not To Make It In America, marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11 through a deeply personal and darkly funny story of ambition and reinvention.

Other featured productions include:

  • Glass Child by The Farm — a moving exploration of sibling love, disability and perception through dance and storytelling

  • FUCCBOIS: LIVE IN CONCERT by Bridie Connell — a sharp, hilarious satire of modern dating culture disguised as a boyband spectacular

  • DADDY by Joel Bray Dance — an intimate and playful participatory work from acclaimed Aboriginal choreographer Joel Bray

  • Concerts of the Future from The Sonicrats & Melbourne Symphony Orchestra — an immersive VR orchestral experience inviting audiences onto the virtual concert stage

  • BIRDS by Sons of Susan — an absurdist dark comedy set against the backdrop of environmental collapse

With performances taking place across Assembly and Summerhall venues throughout August, the programme reflects the extraordinary range and ambition of contemporary Australian performance-making.

FANZA is proud to continue supporting House of Oz and its mission to champion Australian artists in the UK and internationally. We look forward to spotlighting more of the season in the months ahead.
