FANZA attends VIP House of Oz reception at Edinburgh Fringe

The Edinburgh festivals are in full swing, and House of Oz – the Fringe’s award-winning Australian artist platform – has returned following its dazzling debut last year. This week, FANZA Co-Chair Michael Whalley OAM attended a special reception hosted by the Australian High Commissioner to the UK, HE The Hon Stephen Smith, for House of Oz at the spectacular King’s Hall venue in Edinburgh.

The High Commissioner spoke warmly of the contribution that arts and culture make to the wider relationship between Australia and the UK, and in particular, the role of House of Oz in alerting UK audiences to the enormous talent of performing artists coming out of Australia.

FANZA is proud to champion and support all aspects of Australian and New Zealand arts and culture - and the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe are prime outlets for that.
