Study links value of the arts in guarding against depression

Regular visits to the cinema, theatre or to museums dramatically reduce the chances of becoming depressed in older age (50+) a study has found. This UK study is based on evidence from the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing and was published in The British Journal of Psychiatry.
