Australian contemporary and Aboriginal art will be among the work on show at Affordable Art Fair Battersea this October, with several galleries bringing strong Australian connections to the autumn edition.

Sydney-based Orbis Contemporary will exhibit at the fair, presenting artists whose practices are based in Australia. The gallery was established to create international opportunities for contemporary Australian artists and will be at stand B2.

Also taking part is Coe Gallery, founded by Wiradjuri-British artist and curator Jasmine Coe. Established in 2022, it is the UK’s first Aboriginal-owned gallery and works to give emerging and established Aboriginal artists fair representation and greater visibility in the UK.

Bay Gallery Home, which represents Aboriginal-owned art centres in the UK, will bring a selection of Central Desert Aboriginal paintings alongside work including that of Australian eco-sustainable artist Dr Aly de Groot.

Affordable Art Fair Battersea runs from 14–18 October at Evolution London in Battersea Park, with more than 100 UK and international galleries taking part across contemporary painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and other media.
