Australian writer and wilderness guide Anna McCracken launches her new book Do Wildness: Myth, Mystery, and Mischief at London’s Poetry Pharmacy this October.
The book explores ways of reconnecting with the natural world and a sense of wildness in everyday life, drawing on birdsong, stargazing, mythology and poetry. At the London launch, McCracken will discuss the journey behind the book, from the remote deserts of Australia to life in New York.
The evening takes place at Poetry Pharmacy’s Oxford Street home on Thursday 8 October from 6.30–7.30pm. Tickets include a welcome drink, and copies of Do Wildness will be available to buy on the night.
