Bernard Fanning returns to London this July for two intimate solo shows at Union Chapel, following a sold-out run of theatres across Australia marking 20 years since the release of Tea & Sympathy.
Best known as the frontman of Powderfinger, Fanning has become one of Australia’s most beloved songwriters, with a catalogue that includes songs such as My Happiness, These Days, Wish You Well, Songbird and Watch Over Me.
These stripped-back London performances will see him draw from across his solo records and wider songbook, pairing his unmistakable voice with stories from a career that has helped shape Australia’s musical landscape.
The setting adds to the occasion: Union Chapel’s beautiful, atmospheric surrounds offer a fitting home for two rare and intimate evenings with one of Australia’s most enduring musical voices.
Fanning has said these will be the last shows he plays for a while, making this a special chance for UK audiences to catch him live. He will be joined by special guest Georgia Mooney.
