Hemi Hemingway - London performance

  • Hope & Anchor 207 Upper Street London, England, N1 1RL United Kingdom (map)

New Zealand artist Hemi Hemingway brings his latest London show to Hope & Anchor in North London this April. With a sound that draws on 60s rock, 50s polish and 80s romanticism, Hemi pairs swagger with real emotional force, blending classic influences into something fresh, theatrical and distinctively his own. Support comes from fellow label artist BJ Hambro of Vegas Water Taxi.

Hemi has been steadily building a reputation as one of New Zealand’s most compelling emerging performers, known for his charismatic stage presence and sharply crafted songwriting. His work balances a cinematic, retro-leaning sound with modern lyrical sensibilities, often exploring themes of love, loss and longing with a wry, self-aware edge. It’s this combination of polish and emotional honesty that has marked him out as an artist to watch on the live circuit.
