The Pacific Tavern will host Sweet Sounds on this May: a free showcase of New Zealand musicians presented in collaboration with Outward Sound, part of the New Zealand Music Commission.

Sweet Sounds offers a snapshot of the breadth and energy of New Zealand’s contemporary music scene, bringing together a mix of emerging and established artists across genres. From laid-back acoustic sets to more high-energy performances, the showcase is designed to introduce London audiences to the richness of Aotearoa’s musical talent in an informal, welcoming setting — and to celebrate the growing presence of Kiwi artists in the UK.

Following the success of last year’s event, the day promises live music, a warm welcome and, as ever, plenty of pies.
