Far From Alone celebrates its first birthday with Antipodean Dreams, a London party at The Glove That Fits led by Australian producer and DJ Guy Contact.
The event marks a two-city birthday celebration for Far From Alone, the London-based collective with roots in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. The London edition begins with an open-air session from 7pm before moving into the basement from 10.30pm.
Headlining the night is Guy Contact, the Australian progressive house artist whose psychedelic, low-slung sound has appeared on labels including Butter Sessions, Craigie Knowes and X-Kalay.
He is joined on the line-up by Loa Szala, Garth Jefferson King, Markozonio and Tom Fraser, with Far From Alone residents Jefferson King and Markozonio bringing a further Aotearoa connection to the night.
Taking its cue from the idea of antipodean exchange, Antipodean Dreams brings together Australian, New Zealand and London club connections for a late-night celebration of house, progressive sounds and underground dance music in Hackney.
