UK-born, Australia-based comedian Georgie Carroll brings her new stand-up show Infectious to theatres and comedy venues across the UK and Ireland this autumn.
Carroll spent around 20 years working in healthcare before moving into comedy full-time, building a large following through stand-up rooted in the characters, absurdities and human behaviour she encountered during her nursing career. Her previous show Sista Flo 2.0 toured extensively across Australia, New Zealand and the UK and won Best Comedy at the Adelaide Fringe, while she reached the live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2023.
Her latest show, Infectious, continues that observational storytelling, this time looking more broadly at people, relationships and the strange details of everyday behaviour. Carroll has described the show as being about “people being people” and the peculiarities that make them entertaining to one another.
The tour runs through October with dates including Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, Blackpool, Manchester, Scarborough, Stockport, Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Cardiff, Hull, Liverpool and Newcastle, alongside performances in Ireland. Some dates have already sold out, so availability varies by venue.
