A bold new celebration of contemporary Australian writing and ideas comes to Foyles, Charing Cross Road, on Sunday 18 October.
From literary legends Tim Winton and Alexis Wright to global bestseller Heather Morris and the riotous Kathy Lette, OzLit Festival brings nine extraordinary writers to Foyles for one unforgettable day. The theme is The Next Chapter.
Join us for stories of family secrets, haunted pasts, hidden Black history, bodies in revolt and a world on fire. Spanning fiction, memoir, history and true crime, this is Australian writing at its boldest: urgent, provocative, funny and alive.
Tim Winton and Alexis Wright appear live from Australia in rare UK festival appearances.
Featuring in person: Santilla Chingaipe, Heather Morris, Kathy Lette, Evie Wyld, Intan Paramaditha, Lucia Osborne-Crowley and Laura Elizabeth Woollett.
OzLit Festival is an initiative of FANZA, in partnership with the Australian High Commission and Foyles. It is produced by Vivienne Wordley, FANZA Ambassador, and Rina Gill, Tiger Team Creative.
The festival is supported by Australia House Creatives, an Australian High Commission initiative established to nurture and elevate Australian creative talent in the UK.
Tickets are £35 for a Festival Day Ticket or £12 per individual event.

Join us for a reception celebrating the inaugural OzLit Festival and the writers, readers and ideas strengthening the literary conversation between Australia and the United Kingdom.
The room will be reset from 7pm, with drinks served from 7.15-8.15pm. Guests must depart the building by 8.30pm.
